Being several hundred years old this olive tree from Mallorca is radiating calmness and power at the same time. When I was walking around it, the tree kept on changing his appearance with every step I made. Eventually I reached an angle in which the tree appeared very harmonious and powerful at the same time.

I took the photograph with my middle format camera to obtain best image quality and then refined the picture during several days in many fine steps with digital processing and real painting. Presented in the right light this artwork will amaze you with stunning details, beautiful contrasts, shimmering gold and a harmonious composition.
